A conference about the Internet that has already begun testing its power of mobilization

CIRS

Imagine working in the organization of an event being able to do everything without the need to ask for authorization to anyone. Weird? Not that much, especially after you read Here Comes Everybody, Clay Shirky’s book that shows how amazing the power of organization offered by the Internet is.

CIRS, the International Conference on Social Networking, to take place in Curitiba, will be organized like that. Anyone may work in the event organization and do a lot of things with total autonomy. Everything is explained here. Clay Shirky will like that.

The year has begun well. We just learned that Clay Shirky, Steven Johnson and Pierre Lévy will come to Brazil to talk about social networks. They will be at CIRS, International Conference on Social Networks, which will take place in Curitiba between March 11th and 13th. The event is being organized by a group of people connected to the Escola de Redes, created by @augustodefranco. You may register by clicking here.

The videos below will give you an idea about what will happen there.
